Napoleon’s war strategies used as KEYS TO SUCCESS
Mr. Paradkar, one of Toronto’s best criminal defense lawyers, has studied military and historical figures and implements their strategies on the battlefield of trial. He has a proven track record of winning difficult and seemingly insurmountable cases. The following is one of Napoleon’s maxims that is applied:
The first principle of a general-in-chief is to calculate what he must do, to see if he has the means to surmount the obstacles with which the enemy can oppose him and when he has made his decision, to do everything to overcome them.
Napoleon carefully considered every setback or possibility of defeat he might encounter and then he prepared against it. Mr. Paradkar analyzes the case against his client with this lens as a focus in preparing his defence. He uses state of the art mind-mapping and 3D time line software to assess these possibilities.
“Read over and over again the campaigns of Alexander, Hannibal, Caesar. Make them your models. This is the only way to become a great general and to master the secrets of the art of war.”
Napoleon was famous for his fastidious attention to detail, for taking pains to study and thoroughly understand every military situation he ever faced – one must apply this to trial preparation. Plan for every contingency:
“A plan of campaign should anticipate everything which an enemy can do and contain within itself the means of thwarting him. Plans may be infinitely modified according to the circumstances, the genius of the commander, the quality of the troops and the topography of the theatre of war.”
Mr. Paradkar has more than 20 years of experience practicing in all levels of courts from the Ontario Court of Justice to the Supreme Court of Canada. He has successfully defended murder, attempted murder, organized crime, large scale drug cases (including importation, conspiracy, trafficking in drugs such as marijuana, ephedrine, methamphetamines, ecstasy, cocaine, heroin and others), aggravated assault, sexual assault, fraud, drinking and driving (impaired) and other cases.
